My book is uniquely different and better than others on the market, as it is a revealing story, highlighting the benefits of understanding mental disorders as “evolutionary insights” versus “diseases of the mind”.

This book is inspirational in many aspects, so the reader is not only drawn into the personal life story of the author, but learns how “psychotic episodes” experienced by persons with “mental illness” are really “insightful messages” indicating that there is more to life than what meets the eye and its just the matter of putting the pieces of the puzzle together.

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) estimates that in any given one year period, depressive illnesses affect 12 percent of women (more than 12 million women) and nearly 7 percent of men (more than six million men) in the United States. More than likely, 9 percent of these individuals are subject to purchase the book.

The purpose of this book is to inform mental health consumers that they are not abnormal and that we are all angels, but some of us have ignored, lost, or forgotten that aspect of ourselves.

The title, An Angel's Testimony, is an 200 page narrative about an angel, in human form, which rediscovers him-self in the 21st century, as an African-American.

The book includes examples that the readers can appreciate and associate with each page of the reading. Also included is a complimentary publication from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Men and Depression and positive Mental Illness Humor and cartoons by: Chato B. Stewart.
